Some Impertinent thoughts about the grouchy guitar master.
Why are these articles unpublished? Admittedly, my life was rather chaotic when I wrote these studies. I now think I wrote them to help explain myself to myself. If that makes any sense.

However, this said, thank you Fahey, for teaching me more about
music than I could have comprehended without you. Although I do wonder if the time has passed for there to be much interest in solo acoustic guitar music. Even for a master of the eternal like Fahey.

There was a rumor in the acoustic music underground that Fahey
had once said, "I may not be the best guitar player, but I am the deepest."

No one knows whether he actually said that. But I certainly hope so.
